Privacy notice

Short version: we only use your details to reply to you. We don't sell them, we don't track you, and this site sets no cookies.

Who we are

Lighthands is a small team based in Birmingham, UK, with a partner in Islamabad, Pakistan. You can reach us at hello@lighthands.co.uk.

What we collect

Only what you choose to send us through the contact form, by email, WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook: your name, your email and/or phone number, and your message.

When you send the form, our server briefly checks your IP address to block spam. It isn't saved with your message.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to do the work you asked for. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you, or taking steps at your request before a contract.

Who sees it

Only the Lighthands team. Your message is delivered to our business email, which is run by our email provider. If we work together, your details are shared with our partner in Pakistan only as needed to do the job, with the same care.

How long we keep it

If we don't work together, we delete your enquiry within 12 months. If we do, we keep project records for as long as the law requires (normally 6 years for accounts).

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your details at any time. Just email hello@lighthands.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

None. If you switch to dark mode, your browser remembers that choice on your own device. Nothing is sent to us.
